Spork Stream
October 21, 2009

Chef and co-owner, Jeff Hunt along with Erica and Chris Reilly have created a mobile street-kitchen, Spork, which is found somewhere in the Bend area of Oregon. They serve a variety of cuisines made with local organic ingredients and serve it up out of a 1962 Airstream Tradewind, with “Spork” painted in lime green along the side. In keeping with the green and eco-conscious theme, much of the inside of the trailer was renovated using recycled materials. Inside there is a full working kitchen, allowing Spork to specialize in Vietnamese, Korean and Thai style dishes. With the money they save on rent, Spork is able to offer high-quality foods at a decent price. Spork moves around a lot, usually spending a few days to a week at each location. Check out their website to see where they are scheduled next.
