Birding Festival

The Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival will be held in Harlingen, Texas from November 12 through November 15.

This festival gives participants to see at least 30 subtropical birds that are not seen anywhere else in the United States.

The festival program will also include lectures by world-class birders who share their personal stories and experiences.

There will also be seminars, workshops, children’s programs and a large nature fair.

This year the festival is introducing a digital photography safari led by Ruth Hoyt, a nature photographer.
