Park Rangers in St. Louis, Missouri are hosting an overnight program with the St. Charles County Parks Department’s Family Camping Expo, which will teach participants camping and outdoor skills.  The event is designed for families and will be held on Saturday, September 12 and 13.  Sessions will teach tips on knot tying, hiking, mountain biking, fire building and campfire cooking.  After dinner, families can participate in a family fishing derby and then view stars through provided telescopes.  Sunday will include fishing, bike riding, and hiking. Check out the Parks Department website for more information and registration details.

Great to know this about Iowa City. I was writing about Iowa today for my work and I was trying to find ways to promote the state -- I think it must be a great state for bicycling.
