Getting Our Kids to Love the Outdoors

As a child, Jim Casada, writer for the Herald-Journal, has always loved the outdoors.  Refusing to give in to the technological pull that cell phones and the internet have on us, Jim continues to willingly live in “yesteryear.”  As a result, his life is brighter because of his on-going love affiair with the outdoors.  Jim recently wrote a great article on getting today’s youth outdoors and appreciating what nature has to offer us, whether it be insect watching, visiting waterfalls, or full-fledged camping.
