Free Weekend at National Parks
July 17, 2009

This weekend is the second of three free weekends in all of the U.S. national parks. Kraig Becker lists details about five of the nation’s best parks in his recent post. Due to the current economic struggles, the National Park Service has waived entry fees to all national parks during specified summer weekends. He suggests five parks which may not be as crowded but still offer amazing views of scenery and wildlife, as well as hiking and other unique opportunities. Check out these parks in Colorado, Idaho, Virginia, Alaska, and Minnesota.
